Our Story
Raven Roots Tea was born from memories of gardens, summer kitchens, and the old ways of living slowly and close to the land.
Growing up, tea and herbs were never just drinks in our family — they were part of everyday life. My mother and grandmother lived connected to the seasons, the garden, and the quiet rituals of home. Flowers and herbs were gathered by hand, meals were made from what was growing nearby, and simple moments around the table carried meaning.
There was a deep respect for nature in those traditions — an understanding that plants, herbs, and the changing seasons were gifts to be cared for, learned from, and honored. The garden was not only a place to grow food, but a place of peace, healing, and connection.
One of the memories that stayed with me most was elderflower season.
Every summer, elderflowers were gathered while they were fresh and fragrant, becoming teas and drinks that marked the beginning of warm days, open windows, and long evenings outdoors. That floral citrus scent still feels tied to memory, comfort, and home.
Raven Roots was created to carry pieces of that feeling forward.
